The Flying Geese Head to The Festival of Quilts
Bring your friends and join a group of other quilters travelling to the United Kingdom to experience British culture and enjoy The Festival of Quilts!
Preliminary Itinerary:
- July 27 - Depart ATL (overnight flight)
- July 28 - Arrive in London
- July 29 - Explore London and visit Liberty London
- July 30 - Ride Train to Birmingham (1.5 hour ride) | The Festival of Quilts Begins
- July 31 - August 2 - Enjoy The Festival of Quilts and Explore Birmingham & the surrounding area
- August 3 - Return to ATL or extend your trip
Estimated Cost: $3500 per person Price Includes
- Roundtrip Airfare from ATL:
- Lodging: London - Holiday Inn Heathrow | Birmingham - Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel
- Roundtrip Train Fare - London to Birmingham
- 4 Day Entry into The Festival of Quilts
- Meals, snacks, tourist activities, local transportation in London/Birmingham, festival workshop & classes are separate individual responsibility.
Anticipated Pay Schedule:
- October 10: $500 Deposit Due (after December 31 - no longer refundable)
- January 1: $750 payment
- February 1: $750 payment
- March 1: $750 payment
- April 1: $750 payment
